Europe would prefer to see a general global power than having one super power as the United States.

In fact especially the French want this ... they would very much like to rule the world themselves ... but they are the greatest hypocrite of all.
They pretend the usa does all out of interest ... but who doesn't.
They pretend they do not ... but just here is the hypocrite mentality.

They still can't rebuff the fact that they militarily have nothing to say within the NATO.
In 1966 Charles de Gaulle withdrew from NATO because the usa always has the supreme command. This is evident as they have always contributed the largest part in to the NATO.
As no Frenchman could be commander they decided to withdraw, which lead into the move fom Paris to Brussels.
As they regret their withdrawel and the final HQ in Brussels they prefer to find a so called global solutions ...hypocrite as they always are. usa
